Astralpirates provide shelter for stupid, silly and/or wacky thoughts to get a temporary or forever home. We are a safe haven for ideas that often have no place in their place of origin due to neglect, abuse or crises.
Despite the risk of appearing exclusionary: Bad, evil and destructive thoughts and ideas are explicitly not wanted here and will be immediately kicked out!

Purpose
Protection and care for ideas whose creators cannot or do not want take to care of them.
Duration
Can range from a few days (emergency care) to several years (long-term care) or, in some cases, indefinitely.
Relationship
Caregivers are not adoptive brains; the connection to the biological brain often remains. We do our best to support this relationship when it is in the best interests of both parties.
Accommodation
Thoughts and ideas live in specially equipped quarters, find community with other individuals, and even have the opportunity to reproduce and raise offspring.
